Thank you for visiting this page and for your interest in the Annual AASHA Conference in Falls Creek. Please find below details that will help with your planning and information that will make your stay in Falls Creek more enjoyable. 


The final schedule will be released closer to the conference date, but we do promise an informative, relaxed and hopefully fun schedule with a little something for everyone.

How to get here: (See Map)

Car – Falls Creek is approximately 7.5 hours from Sydney, 4.5 hours from Melbourne.

Fly – The nearest airport is Albury, the drive from Albury is around 1 hour 45 minutes.



We have 3 choices of accommodation for you for the conference. We ask that you pay the accommodation directly prior to the event. All details are below:

1. Shared suites at the QT Falls Creek Apartments.

One Bedroom Apartment per night $199.00 

Two Bedroom Apartment per night $286.00 

Two Bedroom Penthouse per night $339.00 

Three Bedroom, Two Bathroom Apartment per night $373.00 

Three Bedroom, Three Bathroom Apartment per night $390.00

2. Rooms at Murmeli Lodge, Falls Creek

Murmeli has a combination of double/twin, family and bunk rooms. 
$60 per person/per night twin share, max 4 per room. 
Includes linen and continental breakfast. 
Option of fully cooked breakfast buffet for an extra $10 per person, per day.

3. Diana Lodge

Diana has a varied range of room sizes available to suit your group.

$110 per person per night with full breakfast included. A 10% discount will be offered if staying 3 nights or more.

Conference Details: 


Friday Night Registration:

5.00pm – 8.00pm in the QT West Boardroom, Mezzanine Level, QT Hotel, Bogong High Plains Rd, Falls Creek. 

Light supper will be served, drinks available. Payments by cash or credit card. 

Welcome address, conference details and social get together. 


Saturday Conference: 8:30am - 5:00pm

The location for the conference will be the newly renovated Cloud 9 Restaurant on the slopes of Falls Creek. It is approximately a 5-minute drive out of Falls Creek via the Bogong High Plains Rd and then on to the Rocky Valley road towards Mt McKay. It will be signposted to ensure no one gets lost (we promise). Plenty of parking will be available. A shuttle will be offered for those that do not wish to drive. (Please indicate whether this shuttle will be required by your party here)


Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is included. Guest speakers and the AASHA AGM. Full schedule will be released prior to the conference start. 


Falls Creek Museum – Will be open between 5:30pm and 6:15pm on Saturday evening and again on the Sunday morning from 8.30am to 9.30am.



Saturday Night Dinner

6:30pm - 8:30pm

Location: The Frying Pan Inn, The Bowl, Falls Creek. 

2 course meal. Drinks available at bar prices. Cash or Credit Card accepted. 

Guest speaker.


Sunday Activities:

(Go to our Bookings page and choose one of the following):

Option 1. Village Walk.

Starts at 9.30am for a 2 hour guided stroll through the Falls Creek Village. Meet at the Falls Creek Information Centre.

Option 2. High Plains Huts Walk.

Starts at 9.00am for a 2 hour guided walk discovering the Cattlemen's Huts of the Bogong High Plains. Meet at the Falls Creek Information Centre.

Option 3. AGL guided tour of Lake Guy, Bogong Village and the Power Station.

Starts at 9.30am for 2 hour guided stroll through the Bogong Village and Power Station. Meet at the Bogong Jack's restaurant in Bogong Village.


Sunday Lunch and Farewell: Bogong Village, Bogong High Plains Road, approximately 20 minutes from Falls Creek heading back towards Melbourne and Sydney. BBQ lunch will be served at 12.30pm.
