Falls Creek was built on passion. It is from love that this little village nestled among the snow gums has grown. For some this love has been fleeting, for others enduring. The Falls Creek Museum was established by those who share this passion for Falls Creek. Through displays and audio visual presentations we aim to celebrate and share the rich history of Falls Creek and convey a sense of our vibrant community to all who visit.

The Falls Creek Museum is operated by the Falls Creek Historical Society (FCHS). The FCHS is a dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time, knowledge  and skills to identify, save and restore artefacts from the beginning of Falls Creek for future generations. The  FCHS is a member of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria (RHSV), the Australian Museums & Galleries Association (AMAGA) and the Australian Alpine Snowsports History Association (AASHA).

At the Annual General Meeting the Falls Creek Historical Society elects a Committee of Management to manage the running of the Society including the Museum. The Elected Office Bearer positions are: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and general committee members.
